PLACES TO VISIT IN KOCHI
There are too many places to visit in Kochi, such as Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Synagogue, Jew Town, Cherai Beach, Veega Land, Bolgatty Island, Willingdon Island, The Hill Palace Museum, Museum of Kerala History, Fort Kochi and much more.
This way Kochi is proud to be called one of the major Tourist Centres in Kerala. So why is the city still a mess with terrible roads, unclen environment, poor city management, rash driving and much more?
INFOPARK - SMART SPACE IN KOCHI
Infopark located at Kochi, is the latest IT Park being developed by the Government of Kerala. With 100 acres of land Infopark Kochi, is an independent Society fully owned by the Government.
Infopark is thriving to be one of the major IT Parks in the country. With this vision, it has been growing fast ever since in 2004, and within a short period of time, has attracted investments from IT majors like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Affiliated Computer Services, OPI Global, IBS Software Services and US Technology.
So having one the major IT park in the country, does it mean that the Kochi city is ready to be given the title of Smart City? Think over? A smart city needs to the fulfill and develop in all ways and standards to set an example to the other cities in the country. We never can be proud about the poor road conditions, traffic jams, bottle neck bridges, garbage piled footpaths of the city, harthals and sudden strikes, power shutdowns each and every day, rash driving and traffic conditions better described as the kill zone in the city of Kochi.
